According to Virgin, the 200Mbps connection will allow a user to download a music album in just three seconds, an hour-long TV show in 16 seconds and a high definition movie in only three minutes, 42 seconds.

The company has been trialling the superfast speeds in Ashford, Kent since last summer but although a general rollout of the the 200Mbps connection is some way off, Virgin will be offering a 100Mbps service by the end of the year.

The show is open to the public from 20 March until 5 April at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London.
