  19. @bigtruckseriesreview I know that was simply an example, but thats why us Android people root; to allow us to run any other form of the Android OS there is.

Eclair, Hero, etc, can all be ran on the g1. With some minimal problems yes, but its not completely impossible. You do know this, yes? Also, you also do know, that whats the point of having a trademark anything, when you can simply hook it up to the computer and drag your favorite songs to the “Music” folder, and you’re done?

  20. Man oh! man……are we becoming that LAZY??

The biggest problem with Android is that there is a huge amount of firmware incompatibility as you move from platform to platform. I don’t even think you can run ECLAIR on G1 for example. Meanwhile iPhoneOS will run on every single iPhone and ipod touch equally.

I like the Nexus 1, but they need a “trademark” music player (itunes/ zune, etc) and they need a trademark music store that grows like ITUNES and APP STORE.

Read my review on EPINIONS about this phone. check my profile’s website.

I want this phone to succeed but you’re gonna fail if you get too greedy.
