In a definite nod to Apple iPad hysteria, HP has launched a pretty swish new convertible tablet.
The 12.1-inch EliteBook 2740p tablet PC sports a stainless steel finish and magnesium casing, and rocks either a Core i5 or Core i7 processor and a glass screen that includes a touch interface.

HP has also premiered the non-tablet 2540p, a similar-specced beast minus the swivel screen.
The 2740p tablet starts at $1599, while the EliteBook 2540p starts at $1099, with both being available starting next month.
