Cookies do not work for Trusted Sites on Win7 RTM IE8

Hello,

I set up my trusted sites as I have always done, but when I tried to log
into Yahoo! Mail (for AT&T) and Facebook, I got cookie errors stating that I
didn’t have cookies enabled. I eventually narrowed the problem to the trusted
sites. When I removed the sites from the Trusted Sites zone, I no longer
received the errors.

Why is this happening? Is there some new option that makes IE8’s Trusted
Sites zone more restrictive than the Internet zone?

Thank you!

Regards,
David

  1. IE8 is strict about the difference between seperating sites that use http and https. If you want to keep facebook in the trusted sites zone, then add https://*.facebook.com to the trusted sites list as well.

  2. Thats very true… Secure sites has to be added!
