BOOTMGR image is corrupt.

My computer was working just fine yesterday and this morning but when I
came back from work at night, it suddenly stopped booting up. I get this
error message: "BOOTMGR image is corrupt. System cannot boot."

I followed the instructions to make the recovery disk for the 64bit
version of Vista but it doesn’t seem to work. I boot my computer from
CD/DVD and it says "Windows loading files" but right after the progress
bar is complete for the loading, the system just restarts all over again
and doesn’t get me to Startup Repair.

Can anyone please tell me what’s happening? 😥
