This is for Canadian fellows who don’t have the luck participating the real Windows 7 launch tour which happens only in US, as far as I know.
This first tour has finished on September 10 in here Vancouver. Jonathan went there and had a good time with a lot of local IT guys. The presentation was pretty good, covering topics on BitLocker, BitLocker To GO, AppLocker, DirectAccess, VPN reconnect, BranchCache and some Windows 7 Enhanced Security. But the best part is the free giveaway to all registered attendees. Everyone who went not only gets a free “I AM PC†t-shirt, but a free Windows 7 ultimate copy as well.
Today, IT Pro Connection Canada announced again the detail schedule when the tour will be happening in other major cities across Canada.
Though it doesn’t mention every attendee will get a free copy, according to what they did in Vancouver, it’s the best bet that they will.
