i keep getting lately the same updates notifications about the next .net
ramework patches:

however, when i try to update, it keeps failing. i tried to uninstall
anything of the .net framework (using the add/remove window and then the MS
cleanup utility) and start the installation all over again, but it didn’t
help. i also tried using a special tool for removing any traces of .net
framework from :

nothing helped. when posting about this in a forum, the only answer that i
got is exactly what i have done (because that’s what i’ve found ) :

can anyone please help me? i really need to use the .net framework properly .
btw, i use a legal windows xp home edition, sp3 , 32bit OS .
