I am confused as to whether to buy a HD (1080p) camcorder or to get SD. HD
uses this new high-falutin’ file that doesn’t appear to be widely supported
yet. The problem is getting info about exactly what I need to author (edit)
the raw footage on XP and then burn it to DVD (or must it be BluRay?) in
order to archive the movie. If I upgrade to Vista will it allow all the above
functions or would i still have to buy extra proprietary s/w? HELP!!!!!!
