I have developed a Windows 7 driver for a Smart Card reader. It installs fine
on Windows 7. When I attempt to install the same driver on XP or Vista, I get
an error. The driver is built using WDK 7600 environment for Windows 7, and
installs using WdfCoInstaller01009.dll

The error message on XP is:
"An internal certificate chaining error has occurred."
A similar message appears when trying to install onVista.
Any clues as to what may be causing this? During driver development, do we
need to sign every new build of the driver?
Thanks,
/ Hannes.
