When I try to update to the latest messenger the update fails. I tried
uninstalling my current version of msn manually via Add or Remove Programs
but when I try to do so it says it is unable to find the MsnMsgs.msi file.

I’m running windows XP SP2 and windows live messenger 8.1.0178.00
