Those of you that picked up the enormous Dell Streak will be fully aware that Dell knows how to put together a smartphone. The company’s next efforts, the Android Venue Pro and Windows Phone 7 Thunder look to be coming along nicely, but rumour circulating today suggests that that’s not the end of the roster…
A sequel to the Streak is apparently in the works, with the working name of Opus One. The handset will again feature a stonkingly large 5-inch display, but will ramp up the resolution to a more impressive 1280×800 pixels.
There’s no word on which version of Android it’ll be running, but word is it’ll be harbouring a 1.2 GHz dual-core SnapDragon processor, which will make it exceptionally quick and powerful.
That’s all we know so far, but it looks like it’s being chalked up for a spring 2011 release date. Would you buy a sequel to the Streak, or is 5-inches just too big for a mobile? Let us know on the T3 Twitter feed.
