Sling Media put on a demo of the app at the GDGT LIve event in Austin, Texas, and it hopes to have the app out by the summer.
Just like the company’s iPhone app the software allows access your Slingbox over 3G or WiFi so you watch TV, and every other content you’ve got stored on your Sky+ box, hifi, laptop or DVD player on your Android phone.

The Android Slingplayer app will work on all current Slingbox models and is set to priced similarly to the iPhone app which retails at £17.99.
