The new machine will have the same name and have a similar all-in-keyboard look to the beloved home computer of the 1980s and it’ll be small at 17.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall; but it will be all 21st century under the skin.
Powered by Intel’s 64-bit quad-core microprocessors with 3D graphic capability according to the company’s website. The revamped computer will also have 500GB of hard drive storage and 4GB of RAM.

Also included are a DVD-RW drive, a touchpad, four USB ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) port to connect monitors. The computer will run Linux, Windows and Mac OX operating systems.
The orginial Commodore 64 was hugely popular in the 1980s and sold 17 million units between 1982 and 1994 and its games have proved enduring popular enough to have had several resurrections.
Commodore USA is a new company that has licensed the Commodore name from Commodore Gaming, which makes vintage games for PCs and consoles.
