FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Revision3’s Talent and Shows Receive Nominations for Second Year in a Row
Revision3, the leading Internet Television network with more than 1.5 billion minutes of video served, is proud to announce their nomination in three categories for four of their shows for the 2010 Streamy Awards, the first and most prestigious awards ceremony honoring excellence in original web television programming and those who create it. This is the second year that the Revision3 talent and shows have been nominated for the Streamys.
More than 150,000 public submissions, covering 2,000 original shows, were narrowed down to a field of just over 100 nominees. The winners will be announced on April 7th and April 11th at two separate ceremonies in Hollywood.
“As a member of the Streamys voting committee – who was recused from voting for our own shows – I can tell you that the competition was intense,” said Jim Louderback, CEO of Revision3. “It’s an amazing testament to our industry that so many great internet video shows are being produced, and enjoyed, by more and more viewers. With that said, it’s also great that as the industry grows, Revision3 continues to grow with it, by continuing to deliver our existing shows at a high level, and introducing new and innovative shows, like INST MSGS, that can be recognized, and rewarded, by voters and the viewing public.”
Revision3’s nominations in the 2010 Streamy Awards include:
Diggnation for Best Hosted Web Series
The Totally Rad Show for Best Hosted Web Series
Diggnation for Best Web Series Host – Alex Albrecht
INST MSGS for Best Experimental Series
