Dell spent a sizeable chunk of its time at the very recently-ended CES 2010 showing off its first foray into the smartphone world – the Dell Mini 3.

It’s a nicely designed, flattened pebble-esque machine, and has just been announced for release in the US on the AT&T network. It’s essentially the same phone as the Dell Mini 3i that we reported on as being released in China in November, except the stateside version has been gifted 3G and built-in GPS.
The Mini 3 has a 3.5-inch HD touchscreen, a 3-Megapixel camera and runs on an altered version of Android 1.6. There’s no word on a UK release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
