Call me Ahab, Another hotmail another bug [Ahab]

Some bugs were resolved and some are new and things are quieting down. I am
getting used to living with the bugs.

An oldie but goodie, the = signs are in the emails. In my case, it’s the
Sent folders. Three identical hotmail accounts but only one does not have the
randomly interspersed = signs. It’s apparently a function of the importing,
what was going on, the curvature of the earth, the amount of butterflies in
China. Interesting. The web folders don’t have this problem. And this =roblem
is only in the =ent =older if you follow me, lads.

BUT the web folders have another problem. Lots of UNKNOWNS listed in the To
so I can’t sort and find old emails in the SENT if I use the web.

Oh, I was right about the guru’s being off Labor Day Weekend. Sure enough,
when Tuesday rolled around, some of my problems went away when they tuned up
the servers. Which problems? That was 4 days ago and I wanted to give you
guys a rest from my bug reports.

If I were not so afraid of WLM, I would probably delete it along with its
registry keys and try this all over. But I’m tired.

I can live with the = signs although it sometimes interferes. And I can live
with the Unknowns for the To addresses.

I had asked for an idiot proof installation. I guess if I were to do this
all over, I would suggest a sterile installation. Turn everything off,
including the telephone. Make sure nothing is running anywhere. No anti-virus
for sure. Don’t even breathe loudly. And maybe the = signs and the UNKNOWNS
will go away.
