Is there any setting in IE to avoid loading of a referenced script?
I have a html document with a simple script tag and a src attribute:
<script src="file.js"></script>
One of our customer’s pc doesn’t load file.js. After some testing I
found out that loading the file was not possible when running from the
local hard drive while it worked when loaded from the internet.
Scripting is enabled and all scripts and messages in the html document
are executed. I therefore created a simple test which can be found here:

I’ve tried a lot of different settings and also set the registry value
to see the "My computer" settings but could not reproduce this.*
Any hints are welcome.
